Operating Principle
The PSG Symons cone crusher operates on the fundamental principle of eccentric rotational movement. The motor drives the eccentric shaft bushing through transmission gears, causing the crushing cone axis to swing rotationally.
As the mantle approaches the concave, rock particles are compressed and crushed. When the mantle moves away, crushed material descends through the crushing chamber until it discharges through the bottom opening. This continuous compression and release action achieves consistent particle size reduction.
