This locomotive is designed to operate at altitudes not exceeding 1000m. The ambient operating temperature range is between 0°C and +40°C. Additionally, it can withstand a maximum relative humidity of up to 95% (when the average minimum temperature of the wettest month is not greater than 25°C).
It utilizes a general mining lithium-ion battery power source (Model: DXL15360/51.2CA). Key electrical components include an explosion-proof chopper speed controller, an explosion-proof 3.5kW DC traction motor, and explosion-proof LED mining signal lights.
The mechanical braking system consists of an operating handle in the cabin and brake shoes on the running gear, allowing the driver to control braking force by applying brake bands to the brake drum. The locomotive also features a sanding system to improve the adhesion coefficient; by pulling a handle, sand flows directly between the wheels and rails to prevent slipping.
The locomotive uses a two-stage reduction gear (cylindrical and bevel gears) housed in a cast steel reduction box. It utilizes a splash lubrication method, requiring 3kg of general gear oil in the gearbox.
