With a compact design (2860×920×1550mm) and 6m minimum turning radius, it navigates confined spaces effortlessly while maintaining a stable 7km/h speed even under full-load conditions.

Equipped with IGBT controllers and 90V voltage systems, the CTY5 ensures energy-efficient operation, reducing carbon emissions by 40% compared to diesel alternatives. Its mechanical brake system and Ф520mm wheels enhance safety on steep gradients, critical for Zambia’s challenging mining terrain. The locomotive’s 385Ah battery capacity supports 8-hour continuous operation, minimizing downtime.
