How Precise Must Mine Hoist Installation Be?

Changsha Mining Equipment Co., Ltd. has successfully delivered a JTP series mine hoist to a key client's site, marking the start of a critical installation phase. The hoist's core components—spindle assembly and bearing beam—are now being meticulously positioned using advanced crane equipment, as captured in our latest site photo (attached).

Installation Highlights & Technical Rigor

1. Spindle Assembly Alignment:

  • Horizontal displacement tolerance: ≤L/2,000 (where L = horizontal distance between spindle and shaft centerline)

  • Elevation deviation: ±50mm; hoisting centerline displacement: ≤5mm

  • Spindle-to-hoist-center perpendicularity: ≤±0.15/1,000

2. Bearing Beam & Pad Integration:

  • Pad spacing: ≤600mm, with mandatory placement near anchor bolts and bearing centers.

  • Paired tapered pads (slope ≤1/25) welded post-leveling; surfaces machined to ≤25μm roughness.

3. Drum & Brake Precision:

  • Brake disc surface roughness: ≤3.2μm; end-face runout: ≤0.5mm.

  • Drum rope grooves deburred, with 0.25–0.3× rope diameter depth and 2–3mm pitch tolerance.

Safety & Compliance

All steps adhere to AQ 1033-2007 safety standards for mine hoists, ensuring operational reliability in coal and metal mining environments. The installation team will proceed to motor coupling and electrical integration next week.
